About me

Hi, and thanks for reaching out.

I’m Valeria, I am an Italian translator specializing in technical texts, subtitle and game localization. I also deal with editorial and web design, and I teach English.

I studied music and learned composition and how to play some musical instruments.
I also studied computer science and, after that, I graduated in specialized translation and localization, with English and Spanish as foreign languages. I’ve worked in the editorial and web design field and in the amazing world of specialized translations and game localization (for the longer version version of my CV, take a look at my LinkedIn profile).

What I do is craftsmanship mixed with creativity. It may require technological tools on occasion (ie. CAT tools), however, some essential qualities like care, attention, and patience are always in the mix.

  • You had AI transcribing an audio/video file but you’ve noticed some mistakes here and there and do not have the time nor will to handle them yourself. Let me take care of the revision for you.
